Frozen Charlotte Necklace, Sterling Silver Dump Found Doll

Frozen Charlotte !
Dump or tip found Victorian Doll, also known as Frozen Charlotte on sterling silver settings.

The doll is exactly how it was found on a dump site in England - I have fitted a sterling silver setting around the neck . This is a terracotta type doll with very crude features. Most of these were made in Germany.

Overall length is approx 6cm long , doll is approx 5cm comes with an 18" Sterling Silver chain.

Victorian dump or tip sites - large rubbish / trash sites that were in place before rubbish was collected at the door. The doll dates back to 1890s and is in really lovely condition. The glaze on the reverse of the doll has come off over the years hidden in earth.
